Look at the nose, it looks that someone has crunched it (maybe some one has). And do really Icelandic or Scandinavian men have a mouth/jaw looking like that ? like coming straight from an ape ? (They may behave like apes, specially after eating "fleinsopp" ;-) but thats another story). Fix that and let Egil be UGLY with lot of hair etc and it should be very good.
OK. Egil is meant to be a bit ugly (although to me he is beautiful). He is a hard Bastard, he is a really big built man who has fought all his life, as a mercenary, as a Viking (raider) and for the things that he considers to be his birthright. He is also a renowned poet. Egil idolises his big brother Thorbjørn, who was an incredibly beautiful man but who was tragically killed when they were fighting for the King of England. There will be more pictures to follow when I get around to it. It is as yet a very small seed of an idea that I think could make a nice story. Egil is not meant to represent all Icelandic men or Scandinavians…
Detta var kule saker! Skikkelig breial viking. Han var tøff. Håper du utvikler denne ideén videre, så vi kan se det i større sammenheng. (If you don`t understand this comment. Try harder)

Why does he have to be so ugly ?
